I updated all my machines with Premiere 11.1 as Adobe recommended, but that move was a mistake. There are bugs. Bugs I can’t even describe, but things that now aren’t right.
Send a file from Premiere to Media Encoder may or may not work.
Premiere crashes often.
This version seems a little buggy. I see 11.2 is in the works, so they know about it, and I have been vocal about it.
Let’s hope the update releases soon.
As an aside: I had a problem where Adobe Media Encoder just wouldn’t take files. I cleared the cache, but it was recommended that next time I try this:
Best trick is to try turning off the preference for using dynamic link for import.
Never did try it, but thought I would pass it along.
